Assunta Cicalese

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Coach with an MSc in Psychology and I help individuals navigate significant life, career, or personal changes so they can choose meaningful career paths, improve their health and wellbeing, and achieve balance in family and social relationships.

I’m a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Division of Coaching Psychology (DoCP) and the Association for Coaching (AC), and I adhere to their code of ethics and conduct rules, ensuring that my practice is grounded in professionalism, integrity, and evidence-based principles.

Before becoming a coach, I worked in Human Resources within the Financial Services sector (check my Linkedin profile). I have delivered work to tight deadlines, streamlined processes, built relationships, and managed teams. At the same time, I have done countless school runs, cooked meals, baked cakes, organised birthday parties, looked after a sick parent and helped friends in need. I understand the delicate balancing act required to maintain a career and a healthy personal life and how easy it is to upset that balance and lose sight of what’s important to us.

In 2015 I returned to work after an 8-year break to look after my daughter (check my return to work story hereand in 2023 I retrained as a coach.

I'm passionate about helping others reconnect with what is meaningful and important to them. I understand and respect that everyone is an expert on their own life, therefore my approach is non-judgmental, supportive, and motivational, designed to educate and empower individuals to take control of their thoughts and actions, so they can achieve sustained change and meaningful goals.
